Alan Korotkin and Babe Ruth Win Training Jumper Division Sponsored By The Sanctuary at A-T Children’s Benefit
Wellington, FL (January 13, 2010) – Alan Korotkin, the owner and trainer of Castlewood Farm in Wellington, rode Eileen Croes’ Babe Ruth to the championship in the Training Jumper division at the Equestrian Sport Productions A-T Children’s Benefit Show. The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Center in Ocala sponsors the division, and Korotkin and Babe Ruth rode away a $100 gift certificate to the world-class therapy and rehabilitation center. Croes, who lives in Boynton Beach, Florida, has been riding with Korotkin for over a year. "I show Babe Ruth and sometimes Alan shows him," Croes said, adding that Babe Ruth is a 9-year-old Lipizzan-Clydesdale-Warmblood cross. "I am planning on showing him in the Children’s Jumpers at WEF. My favorite thing about Babe Ruth is that he really takes care of me and he is very careful over the jumps." Brenda McDuffee, General Manager of The Sanctuary was pleased with Korotkin’s win on Babe Ruth in the Sanctuary sponsored division. "Alan is well known in the Grand Prix ring and has very successful students as well. We wish Babe Ruth’s owner Eileen the best of luck when she competes him at WEF,"McDuffee said. The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Center is a multi-million dollar facility dedicated to the healing, conditioning and well being of all equine athletes. "The Sanctuary features some of the most advanced conditioning and rehab equipment in the world," McDuffee said. ìJumpers such as Babe Ruth compete in a very physically demanding sport which means they often need extra attention to keep them competing at their peak.
