Wellington, FL (May 17, 2010) - Lisa Moore and her Irish Sport Horse, CavalierÕs Royal Diamond, captured the championship in the Training Jumper Division at the Winter Equestrian Festival's Spring 6 Show. The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Center in Ocala sponsored the division, and Moore and CavalierÕs Royal Diamond rode away a gift certificate to the world-class therapy and rehabilitation center.

Moore, an adult rider from Boca Raton, Florida, has owned the 12-year-old gelding for two years. “I have been riding with Jane Fennessy at Carriage Hill Farm for five years. I had never ridden before and was bitten hard by the bug,” Moore said, adding that she really likes the Training Jumper Division as it gives her a great warm-up for the Low Adult Division.

Moore said her riding plans include maintaining consistency and moving up through the divisions. “I am hoping to go as far as my horse and my skill level will take me,” she said. “Cavalier's Royal Diamond is a Grand Prix horse that Carriage Hill's Vinissa Blann rode for a year and prepared for me. Vinissa did a great job transitioning him for a novice rider.”

Moore was thrilled that The Sanctuary sponsored the Training Jumper Division. “I get The Sanctuary's emails and keep up-to-date on what is going on at their facility,” Moore said.

Brenda McDuffee, General Manager of The Sanctuary, congratulated Moore on winning the Training Jumper Division. “We have a lot of great things going on at The Sanctuary, and it is exciting to hear that Lisa is familiar with our facility,” McDuffee said. “The Sanctuary is a multi-million dollar facility dedicated to the healing, conditioning and well being of all equine athletes. Jumpers, such as CavalierÕs Royal Diamond, compete in a very physically demanding sport which means they often need extra attention to keep them competing at their peak.”

The Sanctuary is home to an Equine Hyperbaric Chamber with box stall type freedom of movement, as well as an Aqua Pacer Water Treadmill, the safest, most effective water treadmill available. The Sanctuary also features: a Cold Saltwater Leg Spa featuring 34 degree, highly salinated water for all types of leg therapy; an Equine Swimming Pool - a 110 foot long, 14 foot deep inline pool with therapeutic water; a 5/8 mile race track; two Eurocisers with therapeutic tracking surface - one under cover and one outdoors; Solariums; Temperature-controlled veterinary inspection area with semi-surgical lighting, and rubberized surfaces in most areas.
